So, apparently, a Canadian woman was stopped at the border for a random search, and confiscated her of a two-dollar Kinder Surprise egg. They told her she could have been fined 300 dollars US if they found it while she was still in the states.
Wait, what? Apparently the eggs are banned in the US because small children chould swallow and choke on the toy inside. I don't know about them, but I always figured a kid got a kinder surprise specifically so they could play with the toy inside, not eat it.
and on top of that, they mailed this woman a seven page letter asking for permission to destroy the egg. I bet someone at the border would eat it if they "got permission to destroy it."
